The Leadership Plus Leadership Program accepts participants with a range of disabilities who can demonstrate through a selection process that they have leadership potential. Candidates are sought from a wide range of backgrounds (e.g. business, public sector, rural, arts, unions, volunteers). It is not necessary for candidates to be in paid employment. Candidates who are active within the community sector are strongly encouraged to apply.
The Leadership Plus Leadership Program offers participants the opportunity to talk to a cross-section of today's leaders, to hear their frank opinions and concerns and learn from their experiences. It allows participants to meet, exchange ideas and work together at regular intervals through an action packed year. The program is accredited through the TAFE sector and graduates receive competencies in 6 Units of the Diploma of Community Education.
